Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Cassidy!

I am the artist behind Glazed & Confused Pottery, an Arizona-based ceramics business creating colorful, functional, and occasionally inappropriate pottery (coming soon so stay tuned!).

What began as an elective class in high school turned into an obsession with throwing, glazing, firing, and experimenting with all the little surprises that make handmade ceramics so special.

My work is inspired by bold color, nature, humor, and the belief that everyday objects should feel joyful. I love creating pieces that are useful but still feel like art. Mugs you reach for every morning, bowls that make dinner more interesting, and strange little objects that exist simply because they make someone happy.

Each piece is shaped, glazed, and finished by my own hands. Because of that, variations in color, shape, texture, and glaze movement are expected. Those differences are not defects- they are what makes each piece one of a kind.

Thank you for supporting handmade art and allowing me to keep making beautifully confusing things out of mud.

Stay glazed and confused- but keep kil'n it!

Meet the kiln technician!

Pink takes kiln supervision very seriously. His responsibilities include monitoring studio operations from under the kiln, providing emotional support, making sure glazes are safe with sniff tests, and contributing absolutely nothing to glaze cleanup.

Meet the packing expert!

Stevie makes sure that all items are tear-proof through her rigorous testing measures. Her sniff test ensures that there are no treats that I forgot inside your mugs. After her aproval, they are safe to ship!
