Are your pieces dishwasher safe?
Yes! Check pottery care for more details.
Are your pieces microwave safe?
Yes! Check pottery care for more details.
Can I bake with these?
Yes, but avoid thermal shock which will cause cracking. It is recommended that you preheat your piece along with the oven if possible. Check pottery care for more details.
Why does my piece look slightly different from the photos?
Every piece is handmade, so slight variations in shape, size, color, glaze movement, and texture is expected. These differences are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects. Lighting and camera quality can affect the appearance of the item as well.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes! Custom orders may be available depending on my current workload, firing schedule, and the type of pieces requested. Submitting a custom order inquiry does not guarantee that the project will be accepted.
How long do custom orders take?
Custom pottery can take several weeks or longer because each piece has to be made, dried, bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired. The timeline depends on the project and my current firing schedule.
Can you recreate a piece exactly?
Short answer, no. I can use a previous piece as inspiration, but exact duplication is not guaranteed. Handmade pottery and glaze results vary naturally from piece to piece.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with the photos of the damaged item, the packaging, and shipping box. This helps me review the issue and handle the next steps.
Do you offer local pickup?
Local pickup may be available in the Phoenix/Mesa areas. If local pickup is available for an item or order, details will be provided at checkout or by message.
Do you accept returns?
Because pottery is handmade and one of a kind, returns are limited. Custom orders are not returnable unless there is damage or an error with the order.
Do you sell seconds or imperfect pieces?
Personally I do not believe there is anything imperfect about art. However, small defects in items that do not affect basic use do occur, and those items may be listed at a discounted price.
Where can I shop in person?
Glazed & Confused Pottery can be found at select markets and events in Arizona. Market dates will be posted on the website and social media.
